Seth's List...

Here's a list of possible gifts.  I could really, really use the shirts, but included some other ideas as well...
  • Dress shirts.  I received about a half dozen shirts for Christmas a couple of years ago and it became a joke around the office - "Nice shirt. Ron's family, eh?"  The old batch is wearing out and I could use some replacements.  Size = M (15 1/2 x 32/33).
  • Cheap cuff links.  The more expensive they are, the more likely I am to lose them, so please consider only cheap ones.
  • Book on coin prices.  I have a penny collection that I haven't worked with in a while.  I suspect that some of the coins may be worth two or three cents by now.  If you happen to know of a coin shop, I could also use some plastic protectors or other items to get things organized (half of the pennies are currently in margarine tubs right now).   Holly culls her parent's change to find wheat pennies and actually has found a few in the past several months (I didn't think any would still be in circulation, but evidently they are so keep an eye out for them).  If you purchase any pennies, please don't spend more than a buck a coin - One of the reasons that I like the pennies is that they aren't an investment collection.
  • Books regarding knitting.  In an effort to keep me out of classrooms this autumn, I taught myself to knit.  I found links on Amazon but they are also available at a knitting store next to us (i.e. Ron would be more than happy to pick them up for you!)  1. Knitting Workshop by Elizabeth Zimmermann.  School House Press: 1981.  2. Favorite Mittens by Robin Hansen.  Down East Books: 2005.  Associated with that, yarn would always be welcome as well!  There are some good yarn stores online including Seaport Yarns (which also has a store on lower Broadway).
  • Amazon gift cards.  I thought the IPod was the best thing ever, however this Kindle has convinced me otherwise.  I'm not through my birthday gift cards yet but know that I will be soon.  Gift cards would be well appreciated.
